After a claim is reported, as a client you can expect to be contacted to give a statement regarding the claim. Be sure to keep track of all details occurring after the claim is started. For an auto insurance claim, make sure to get an estimate on all damage(s). If the claim is related to homeowners property damage, contact a trusted contractor for a bid and possible damage control.
